Where do I go to configure my website?
The link to configure your website is included in your Page.Guru welcome email. You can always get there by typing your domain name, followed by “/setup.php” into your browser’s address bar. For example, if your website’s domain is http://coffee-demo.page.guru/, you would put http://coffee-demo.page.guru/setup.php in your browser’s address bar. This would take you to the login for your Page.Guru Admin area.
I added a Facebook post. Why isn’t it showing on my website?
Page.Guru checks your Facebook page for new content once every hour. This is to ensure your website loads as quickly as possible. You can force Page.Guru to check your Facebook page for new content by logging into your Page.Guru Admin, and clicking the Clear Cache button on the content tab.
Can I leave out a Facebook post I don’t want on my website?
Yes. There is an Exclusions area on your blog page settings where you can select as many Facebook posts as you want to exclude from your blog page.
Can I customize the design of my website?
Yes. Page.Guru was built to get a site up and running as quickly as possible using a pre-built template. That being said, if you know HTML and CSS, you can easily customize your Page.Guru template. For details on how to do this, visit our customization page.
How do I create a Facebook Page?
- Go to facebook.com/pages/create.
- Click to choose a Page type.
- Fill out the required information.
- Click Continue and follow the on-screen instructions.
Are there additional costs?
Page Guru comes with the website and a chosen sub domain page name like businessname.page.guru included.
That said, many people like to use an official domain name such as a .com or .ca etc You can use a domain you already have bought somewhere else, or by a new one from us. Other than a new domain name you might wish to buy, everything else is included in your monthly rate.

How do I do change the template (theme) for my website?
To change the template for your Page.Guru website, login to your site administration area. On the setup tab, scroll down to the area titled “Website Template”. Click the checkbox next to the template you’d like to use. A preview will appear below the template selection area. Click the “Update” button at the top or bottom of the page to save your changes. Once saved, reload your website and see it with the newly selected template.
What about Refunds?
Page Guru only bills for monthly service and may be cancelled at anytime. Unless someone stole your credit card and used it to buy a Page Guru, refunds are not really applicable.
Can I change Plans or cancel at any time?
Yes! Page Guru is a hosting service provided by Hosting Nation. Upgrading to another hosting account with us is possible. Contact our support dept if you require more info.
